Craig Hartin is a policy lead on packaging EPR for the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) in Northern Ireland. Over the last few years, he has been working with the Single Use Plastic Directive Team and progressing waste legislation. The Packaging EPR policy team in DAERA is currently working with officials in the UK Government, the Scottish Government, and the Welsh Government to develop a UK-wide EPR scheme for packaging and to progress the relevant legislation.
