Michael Cunningham, Director, Polymer Matters

Michael Cunningham is Director of Polymer Matters and also leads RecyCo, a waste management and recycling company. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, he has recently concentrated on the plastics sector, specialising in the processing of post-consumer HDPE, including washing and extrusion for food-contact applications. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in a diverse range of waste management and recycling activities, building strong expertise in regulatory compliance, material quality, and end-market demands. His experience spans both operational and strategic roles, contributing to the delivery of efficient, compliant, and commercially robust recycling solutions.
