Katie is Senior Director of Policy, Media and Education at CIWM, with over fifteen years experience in the vocational and technical education space, more than ten of these spent developing and improving professional skills programmes in the waste and resource management sector. She oversaw the introduction of the first apprenticeships to the sector in 2011 as well as the evolution and growth of operator competence schemes, and is now keen to look forward to the future skills needs of our critical sector.
