Helen is an experienced sustainability professional with significant waste management/ recycling expertise, gained over a career in the sector spanning almost 20 years. Helen joined Tetra Tech in October 2023 from global NGO WRAP – one of the UK’s top five environmental charities – where she was a Senior Specialist focusing on Household Food Waste (HHFW) and Citizen Behaviour Change. Helen is a strategic thinker with skills in analysing, synthesising, and interpreting evidence, insights, and data to assess and shape strategic priorities and actions. Persuasive and passionate, she is an experienced workshop facilitator and presenter. She develops practical, outcome-focused solutions to complex environmental problems with a focus on householders and how to influence their behaviour. She is Vice- Chair of CIWM’s Behaviour Change Strategic Expert Group (SEG).
