Micaela Diver is a partner in A&L Goodbody’s Litigation department in Belfast with over 15 years’ experience. Micaela specialises in Public & Regulatory law leading a team of 5 lawyers who are experienced in complex, high profile cases before a variety of regulatory authorities and the Northern Irish Courts. Micaela acts for clients in judicial reviews, statutory appeals, investigations and other inquiries with a particular interest in the waste sector. She has acted for client’s in the sector in relation to contractual disputes, public procurement challenges, waste licencing concerns, application of international legal conventions and investigations with the NIEA and local councils. Micaela is qualified to practice across the island of Ireland which will become of increasing importance as regulatory divergence occurs as a result of Brexit.
